Our Mission
A Church Planting Movement
It has become very clear over the last several months that God is leading us to join a church planting movement happening in South Africa. We have connected with an organization that is discipling and sending out leaders to start simple, reproducing, Jesus focused churches all over the world.
Details about our 3 1/2 Year Mission
Who are you going with? Where will you be? When do you leave? How long will you be there?
All Nations is the organization leading the church planting movement that we are joining. They are focused on making disciples and sending out trained leaders to start simple, reproducing, Jesus focused churches all over the world. We applied and were accepted for the 6-month Church Planting School that they offer. Our flight to Cape Town, South Africa leaves January 28th 2009 and our training begins in February. Following successful completion of the training we will launch into a South African community for 3 years. We are currently raising monthly financial support for those three years and for the training period.

A Big Temptation
Staying in the US has been a temptation. We both have considerable talents that could keep us secure and stabile for years to come, but God is leading us away from that and the truth is we want more…
What We Think God “Calls” Everyone To Do
Based on what we have read in Scripture and learned from our relationship with Jesus, we feel called to live radical lives. We think the sacrifice we will be making by moving so far from our families and everything that we know is minuscule prepared to the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross.
Jesus and His New Testament followers lived passionate, radical, sold out lives of service for the Gospel, and we see NO better way to live.
We want to see God move in a big way in the world around us. We want to take big risks that absolutely require that God show up for them to work. We want to see people come to Jesus and experience the same magnificent freedom that we are experiencing today.
