Holding him for the first time.

This was right after they handed him to Nichole. He snuggled immediately. I got overwhelmed had to stop taking pictures because it reminded me of when Nichole was holding Figi under her neck in the same way. Two of the sweetest moments of my life.

This was his bed at the orphanage. There is a room full of people and a TV on to the left of this picture.

Array

His birth certificate.

Array

His very first picture after he was found. Close to 1 month old here.

Array

This is where he was found.

Array

These were some flowers that were growing from the bush he was beside.

In case you were wondering, Nichole is still in Ethiopia with him now. We are now waiting to be submitted to the US Embassy and cleared to bring him back to the states. Only 4-8 weeks to go!

So amazing. A beautiful picture of Gods grace and how he found us in a less than perfect place sand brought us into his inheritance and family by nothing we have done. Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations! Great pictures! He is such a beautiful little boy!

Crystal November 17, 2011 at 4:25 pm

How stinkin’ cute is he?!?! You’re smart to take pictures of little things like his crib and the place where he was found. As an adoptive sister, I can say that as the kids grow they want to know soooo much about their story. Good for you.

Oh how my heart rejoices to see these pictures and the joy God has given you and your sweet son. May he grow up to be a Missionary in the very land that the enemy sought to destroy him…..BUT GOD :)

I don’t know you. I know nothing about your story. What I do know is that I am in tears after accidentally stumbling onto this page from a friend of a friend’s FB page, and I am sitting here as thrilled for you as I would be for my dearest, oldest friend. Enjoy your new life and enjoy that amazing little boy of yours. I may not know you, but my joy for your family is completely authentic.
