Road Trip Prep, Prayer Needs and our Last Days in Louisville

by Aaron Marshall on November 7, 2008

Wow! Time is absolutely blowing by us! We only have 3 weeks left in Louisville! Nichole and I are very excited and overwhelmed by everything that is going on. It feels a little surreal, but everyday we learn more about God’s mission to restore this world through Christ and it makes us severely grateful to be a part…

Hey guys, I know that I see you almost everyday, but I just wanted to let you know that JT and I are praying for you. Both of you are such great people, I know that I have learned a lot from you in the short time that we have known each other. You both are so fun loving and serene. The love that you have for each other and the passion you have for the world is amazing. I am a better person just for knowing you. Love you both and good luck on your trip. I will try to keep my blog updated more so that we can keep in touch better while you are gone.
With love and admiration,
Loura Henning

Hey! Just looked at your travel map you are going on one amazing road trip! I hope you both are blessed by the people you will be speaking to. I can’t believe I only have 10 more working days with you, Nichole. The time has flown by so fast. I don’t know anyone better suited for this mission than the two of you. As I have said in the past your love for each other and the Lord above is amazing I know that all the little road blocks you are encountering are only a testament to you faith to each other and God. Always remember that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. I’m always praying for you and will miss you terribly. Hope you enjoy your dinner tonight and I’ll see you at work. Love ya
P.S Lola, Lacey and Holly send their kisses.

Aaron & Nichole,

WOW! Everytime I read your blog I’m totally amazed at how your relationship with Christ has grown stronger and deep rooted. God is planting you like a tree by the water so that when the storms come (and we know, they will come) you shall not be moved. I feel led to share Hebrews 11:6 with you. It says, And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
He will provide all your needs. I also read a quote from St. Thomas More that I feel will encourage you. It says, Give me grace, good Lord, to count the world as nothing; to set my mind firmly on You and not to hang on the blasting words of men’s mouths.

Not everyone will understand you, nor will they support you but keep your eyes on Jesus and the task before you. Finish the race. Finish strong!

Love,
Teresa
